I. The Premise

You have been summoned to Blackhollow Manor. An inheritance was promised. A game was offered. But something ancient stirs in the walls. The Hangman walks these halls, and with every choice you make, he draws one step closer. Play Chapter I in this demo. Chapters II–V are locked and available in the full Android game.

II. Your Vitals

• Health (HP) — Your body. At 0, you die.
• Sanity — Your grip on reality. At 0, you go mad.
• Dread — Rises each scene. At 100, you give up.
• Hangman — His proximity. At 100, he takes you. The world grows darker and redder as he nears.

III. The 3D D20 of Doom

After choosing an action, a glowing red die appears in the void. Tap it to cast your fate:

• 20 — Critical Success. The Hangman falters.
• Beat DC by 3+ — Success.
• Meet DC — Partial Success (a cost is paid).
• Miss by 1–4 — Failure.
• Miss by 5+ — Critical Failure. He laughs.

IV. Your Trait

Choose one at creation. Matching your trait to a check grants +3:

• Brave · Cunning · Occult · Swift · Devout · Lucky (reroll a 1 once per chapter)

V. Rules of Survival

• Never stare at him for too long.
• If you hear humming, do not turn around.
• The mirror always lies.
• He cannot cross salt. Use it wisely.
• When your heart begins to pound, he is close.
